Theory: haematoxylin staining solution is alkali, and is mainly used to stain chromatin in mesoplast and ribosome in cytoplasm with bluish violet color; exfoliated cell multi-color staining solution is an acid dye, which is mainly used to stain composition in cytoplasm and ground substance outside cell with multiple colors.

Range of indications: used for staining observation of exfoliated cell form in exfoliated cell smear of organism, it is especially applicable for staining observation of oral cavity, vagina exfoliative cytology and ovarian endocrine function, in terms of clinical application, it mainly applies to diagnose of superficial cancer cell, deep part cancer cell, certain deep portion malignancy cancer cell without natural orifice and etc.
